Why I am a Conservative American

Depending on one’s point of view this Presidential election year will drastically shape the direction America follows in her future. Will the electorate choose to continue on the pathway of a larger, more intrusive federal government by reelecting President Obama? Or will we as Americans reject the political philosophies of the current administration and try to steer the ship of state back onto a course of fiscal responsibility, the old fashioned American work ethic that what we get or achieve are the direct results of earning them rather than being handed them through government entitlements? As a conservative American I hope that we choose the latter course and fire Barack Obama.

Below, I have listed my reasons why I am a conservative American and have added photos I took yesterday at a Tea Party Rally held in Bellingham. While I am not a card carrying member of the Tea Party I strongly identify with their political beliefs and tenets. As you look at the few pictures added to this article one thing is made abundantly clear, the rally was peaceful, orderly and respectful. There was no American Flag burnings, obstruction of traffic on one of the busiest streets in our city. Also, there was no disrespect shown to any race or ethnic group. In fact one of the pictures will show a person waving the flag of Israel standing next to a person holding the American flag. When one thinks back to the Occupy Movement that was praised and supported by President Obama and many in his party there were rampant examples of anti-Semitism, anti-patriotism, calls for anarchy, rapes, murders and other acts of violence by many in those rallies. Also, let’s not forget the tremendous amount of tax payer funds that were required to clean up the messes left behind once the Occupy protesters were evicted from the sites. To me, these are reasons enough why I choose to be and am a conservative American.  

·         I WANT SMALLER FEDERAL GOVERNMENT

·         I DON’T WANT GOV’T MANDATED HEALTH CARE

·         I WANT LOWER TAXES

·         I OPPOSE INCOME AND WEALTH REDISTRIBUTION

·         I AM OPPOSED TO ANY FORM OF GUN CONTROL

(MY SON WAS MURDERED BY A PERSON THAT BOUGHT HIS GUN AT A DONUT SHOP AND NO AMOUNT OF GUN CONTROL LAWS COULD HAVE PREVENTED HIS MURDERER FROM OBTAINING HIS GUN)

·         I AGREE WITH THE “STAND YOUR GROUND LAWS.”LAW-ABIDING AMERICANS NEED TO BE ABLE TO “STAND OUR GROUND” AGAINST THE OBAMA ADMINISTRATION, ATTORNEY GENERAL HOLDER AND PROGRAMS LIKE HIS “OPERATION FAST & FURIOUS” AND ALL OTHERS THAT ARE MERELY USING THIS LAW AS A MEANS OF PROMOTING MORE GUN CONTROL LEGISLATION.

·         AGAINST THE RADICAL FRINGE GROUPS IN FLORIDA CALLING FOR VIGILANTE JUSTICE

·         AGAINST A BIASED MEDIA

   ·         AGAINST THE SOCIALIST PROGRAMS OF PRES. OBAMA        

·         AGAINST OBAMA’S CLASS WARFARE ON JOB CREATING BUSINESSES AND ENTREPRENUERS

       

·         AGAINST OBAMA’S CLASS WARFARE ON JOB CREATING BUSINESSES AND ENTREPRENUERS
